Anne C. Mack, MD, FAAPMR

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Brain Injury Specialist

“Excellent care always begins with communication. By getting to know you and building trust, I can truly understand your concerns and your goals for recovery. I’ll listen and give you the time you need to talk about how your accident or injury has changed your life, and what you want out of your treatment.

This understanding helps me build a partnership with you. I provide the knowledge and skill to help you heal, but your communication and feedback are necessary to tailor your medical care to fit you.

During college, I decided that the best way I could use my interest in helping people and my talent in the sciences was by pursuing a medical career. I chose physiatry as my area of expertise because it allows me to combine family medicine with the psychological aspects of care that I feel are important to a patient’s best recovery. I treat more than physical and neurological injury; I treat the patient as a wholly unique individual.

As a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist, I see how spinal injuries, back and neck pain, closed head injuries, and more can have profound effects on people’s lives. Physiatry helps me better focus on these types of injuries and the life-altering changes they bring. In our practice, we help patients deal with all aspects of their injuries, from physical pain and emotional effects, to the work and family issues that can impact their recovery.”
